The name of my sculpture is “Futuristic Window”, and it is part of a bigger series of monumental sculptures called “Cubes and Volumes” that I have done in different places worldwide. The main concept behind this sculpture is the dualism between the sharp 90-degree angles of the cubes and the free forms of the spirit. Two parallel dimensions that exist in every human being. The rational and the irrational, the conscience and the unconscious, and the real-life and the dream. The movement, dynamics, and speed of our present are driven by the forces of the mystical powers of nature, God, or the unknown chaos. Having the possibility to sit on the sculpture and experience that concept through the visual dynamics toward the unknown future is the main purpose of my project for Baarlo.
